Kiboots Love

I just discovered these amazing leather/kilim boots from Kiboots that would be perfect for a summer in the desert and wandering the beaches of Los Angeles. If only I didn't have such weird feet that never seem to be happy with shoes unless they are extremely soft. I'm still wearing the same sneakers I bought four years ago as it's almost impossible for me to find something that I can actually walk in.

Dressing Room Adventures

I've been trying on a lot of stuff lately, trying to figure out what key pieces I want in my spring wardrobe. One thing I'm desperately searching for is the perfect fringe leather jacket. It has to be special, not just a random one. I found two great vintage ones recently, but they sold out before I could make up my mind to buy one. I'm also really into florals and pastels at the moment, as I'm craving spring more and more. We had snow last week, and I'm really sick of it. Luckily the sun has been shining all weekend and things might soon be turning around and getting less dull and gray.

Spell Designs Fringe Bag

I want this soooo bad! I don't think I've ever wanted a bag this much. Isn't it amazing? My birthday is coming up and this is waaaay up on my wishlist! I think the white one is my favorite and the tan one my second favorite, but I'm not sure as both are amazing. Make my day and buy me one here!

Marios Schwab Spring 2011

I really like some of the details in Marios Schwab's Spring 2011 collection, specifically the combination of lace, satin and leather, and the symbols he uses on prints: pentagrams, crosses, pyramids and the all-seeing eye. I'm not too keen on his use of bright blue and orange though, but the creams and blacks would work well in the right context. Also you can never go wrong with Joan Jett hair. These are my favorite pieces in the collection.

Dream Dream Dream

I'm getting really impatient for spring to arrive. It's still much too cold here and I have to wear about three layers of sweaters to stay warm when I'm outside. And my normally very cute and fashionable trapper hat has to be tied firmly around my face to warm my cheeks so I end up looking like dork. So when I'm on my way to work I just dream away to a warmer climate and picture myself wearing amazing summery outfits and having a blast with my fiance on some future vacation. Part of my daydream is carrying one of the fantastic Buffalo Girl bags from spelldesigns.com. They are handmade and I want one bad! Buffalo Girl makes amazing navajo inspired pieces and I can't wait to see what else they have planned for this summer. Ferris Bueller's Day Off: Fashion of Sloane Peterson

My fiance and I are having an 80s movie weekend and we just finished watching Ferris Bueller's Day Off. It's been a favorite of mine since I was a kid and I know almost every line by heart. One thing I didn't notice when I was a kid though was Sloane's amazing white leather fringe jacket. It's very 80s and very very cool.

All Saints London

Last week I went to London for the first time and one of the shops I kept going into was All Saints. I don't like the name much, but the fashion is unbelievable. It's rough, tough, punk cowgirl with amazing details. The heels on their boots are hammered in with nails. I love details like that. Their shoes are generally pretty fabulous and seem very authentic and I keept trying them on even though my feet were sore from walking around the city. I wanted to buy the whole store, but I still have to save up for my US trip so it wasn't the time for spending. I am however adding some of their lovely things to my evergrowing wishlist. They have a webshop and ship internationally so it should be no problem getting my hands on some of these things.
