Animal Insticts
I'm crazy about these paintings by canadian artist Jen Mann. They've been popping up all over the place lately and I can understand why. Have you ever wondered what your totem animal would be if you had one? Which animal represents you? I'm not sure what mine would be, probably something aggressive or sneaky haha.

Beautiful illustrations by Julia Denos
I'm a huge fan of Julia Denos' gorgeous illustrations. To me they are just perfect and should all be hanging on my living room wall. Julia draws very pretty girls among other things, but I especially love her Audrey Hepburn illustrations in the wonderful book Just Being Audrey. I hope someone buys it for me for my birthday! I love Audrey and Julia depicts her perfectly. See more on Julia's site here.

Cute illustrations by Katie Rice
I've been following Katie for about three years now. I'm not exactly sure why I haven't written about her before, but I'm making up for that now. Katie has worked with the amazing John K which is very evident in her style. It's very fluent and her cute girls are never generic. They have great quirky expressions and poses, and all her drawings just seem so natural. She also illustrates for a cute web comic called Dumm Comics. And she's also nice enough to share some of her drawing tips and tricks on her blog!
And check out all the Star Trek Original Series Post-It babes below! Love!

Finishing Multimedia Design school 2006
I had been a student for two years now at the Multimedia Design school in Copenhagen and was finally finishing. I had learned a lot about media design and had decided that I wanted to fullfill my dream of becoming a graphic designer and illustrator. Throughout my time at the school I worked with all kinds of projects and programs and got a better understanding of how everything worked. My work was very crude but it's fun to look back on.
My first attempt at webdesign.
A later attemt at webdesign.
Our second year we got an assigment to design an online game for girls. This was the first time I tried vector graphics, photo realism, illustration and character design. I loved it! And I seemed to be fairly good at it as well. Our game was voted the best game of our class which was very cool. Afterwards our project advisor hired me to work on a real online game for girls called Powerbabe and I ended up working there for four years and eventually becoming the editior as well as designer. Here's some examples of my work for the first game prototype.
Vector changing room made in Flash
As our final project on our second year we decided to continue working on the game concept though we had to start over. It was a lot of fun and we got the equivalent of an A so we vere very happy with it.
